Zooming Forward: Year 2020 in Review

As we look forward to next year, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on what Fortz Legal brought to 2020.

We will not be the first ones to admit that this year was unlike anything that we could have expected. Due to COVID-19, the necessary global shift from in-person activities to a remote environment impacted our business tremendously. However, this shift did not stop us from continuing to support our clients to the very best of our ability. Our expert team at Fortz Legal adapted and came up with creative solutions in the face of such unprecedented circumstances. We stepped in and stepped forward to ensure unparalleled support to our clients as they continue to navigate remote depositions both locally and nationally. Since March, we are proud to be the only Michigan court reporting firm that is recognized as a national leader in remote depositions.

Not only that, but in August we were proudly ranked no. 4,031 on Inc. Magazine’s annual list of the 5,000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America.

We reflect upon all of this and are thankful, above all else, for the continued community support right here in Michigan. For the third year in a row, we were able to partner with the State Bar of Michigan for their annual symposium. We were also honored to participate in a number of webinars and conferences alongside of the Oakland Bar Association, Michigan Defense Trial Counsel and NALS National.

In 2020, we remained committed to our mission: to provide passion-filled and creative solutions to our clients’ many time sensitive and diverse needs through our investment in people, technology and the best in the industry resources.

Though we could not have predicted the circumstances of 2020, we are looking forward to supporting our clients every

step of the way no matter what 2021 may bring.
